The Bake sale was a success! We almost sold everything but a few. We ended up make $484. Half of the money went to the class winner and then the other half we split into two parts so one half went to the Humane society and the other half went to the Smith Grove Fire Department. Over all we are very pleased with our outcome. We didn't expect to make that much money and the two dogs that were with us at the bake sale got adopted two or the days after the bake sale!!! we would like to thank all of you who have stuck with us as we went through this amazing 12 week process:)

Now that we week is up it is time to gather all of our information and start baking for our bake sale this weekend with the Humane Society!
For the past couple days Emma, Nora, and I came up with a schedule for who would sit at lunch and sell tickets during both A and B lunches. Throughout that week we ended up selling around 90 tickets and that included bot A and B lunches.
Emma, Nora and I have now started meeting with the people we need to throughout the school in order to be able to start selling tickets around the school for our 50/50 raffle.
Emma and I have now set a date for our event which is December 8th and we have also gotten our flyers made. We plan on passing out our flyers around school, local restaurants, and it is also online.
This week we will be emailing the Humane Society to set up an appointment to take pictures of dogs and cats to put put on a website to give others information about them. We are currently make flyers for our 50/50 raffle. We will be splitting the money with our partnership to raise money for both sides along with being half way done with baking the treats we would like to sell.
The past couple of days Emma and I have been baking our treats!! It’s kinda hard for me personally not to eat them as we work!! I hope you guys are excited just as much as we are:)
Emma and I have figured out what we will be selling and where we will be selling so stay tuned for more information!!
Emma and I are working on finding place and trying to set up a date to proceed with our bake sale. We have now changed who we are will be donating the money to. We are trying to plan a meeting with Lowes Foods to see they will let us set up outside of their store and sell our products. Emma had an idea what if we donate half of the money to them for letting us sell our products and the other half to the local fire department to help out with whatever they need to use the money for.
